Day 8. Free Korean Workbook for Kids: Shoes, Tofu, Sweet Potato + Practice

Hello, this is Binoo Teacher 😊 I’m a Korean teacher and a mom who loves creating simple and gentle learning materials for young children. Today’s worksheet helps young learners continue  building their Korean reading skills step by step. For Day 8 , we are focusing on one special vowel sound: ' ㅜ' Over the past few days, children have been practicing  simple consonant and vowel combinations without final consonants. Today, instead of learning many new patterns, we gently strengthen one sound through repetition and familiarity. By seeing the vowel 'ㅜ'  appear in different words, children begin to recognize sound patterns naturally. Today's Words: 1. Shoes (구두) 2. Tofu (두부) 3. Sweet Potato (고구마) 4. Practice_Trace the line 5. Practice_Part 1 6. Practice_Part 2 All of these words share the same vowel sound ' ㅜ' , helping children feel more confident as they read. Learning Korean doesn’t need to be rushed. Through repetition, simple words, and familiar...

Day 6.Free Korean Workbook for Kids (Printable & Beginner-Friendly)

Hello! This is Binoo Teacher😊

I’m so happy to share today’s Korean learning activity with you.

If you’re teaching Korean to young children,

thank you for being here and learning together with us.

For Day 6, this worksheet focuses on

reviewing all the words children have learned so far.

Today’s activities are designed to move

  from basic to extended learning

following this flow:

Mini Book → Word Matching → Memory Game

This step-by-step structure helps children feel confident

before moving on to more challenging activities.

Activity 1: My Korean Words – Make a Mini Book

In the first activity, children color, cut, and fold the worksheet

to make their own mini book.

After making the book, they are encouraged to

flip through the pages and say each word out loud.

Activity 2: My Korean Words – Match the Words

In Match the Words, children cut out the Korean word cards on the right

and stick them onto the matching pictures on the left.

*Flexible by age

For younger children, this can be a simple cut-and-stick matching activity.

For older children, the cards can be used without sticking,

turning the activity into a memory or matching game instead.

Activity 3: Memory Game – Learn by Playing

The final activity is a memory game, which helps strengthen

focus, recall, and vocabulary recognition.

The number of cards can be adjusted depending on the child’s age and level.

1. Mix the picture cards and Korean word cards, then place them face down.

2. Find the matching picture and Korean word.

3. When you find a match, read the word one more time. Ex)🦁 + SaJa

This game can be adapted freely—fewer cards for beginners,

more cards for confident learners.

Thank you for learning Korean with Binoo Teacher 💛

I hope today’s review activities help children feel proud of

what they’ve learned and excited to keep going.

See you in the next worksheet!

좋은 하루 되세요 💛
